Restaurants, halls, hotels and unusual spaces for a wedding reception in London, with seated capacities and licence times.
What to check before you book
- Seated capacity with a dance floor. Ask for the number that fits with room left to dance.
- Licence. Check how late the bar and music can run.
- Caterers. Some venues insist on their own kitchen, others accept outside caterers.
How venues are priced
Venues price their spaces in one of three ways. A minimum spend means you commit to spending a set amount on food and drink, with no separate room fee. A hire fee is a flat charge for the space. A per person price covers a package for each guest. Every listing on Find a Venue says which one applies and shows a starting price.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Each listing shows whether catering is in house or whether outside caterers are allowed. Confirm any kitchen or corkage charges with the venue.
