What to check before you book
- Wet weather plan. Ask what happens if it rains and whether there is indoor space for your full group.

How venues are priced
Venues price their spaces in one of three ways. A minimum spend means you commit to spending a set amount on food and drink, with no separate room fee. A hire fee is a flat charge for the space. What if it rains on the day?
Ask each venue for its wet weather option before you book. Many outdoor spaces have a covered or indoor area held for the same booking.
